Meet the Artists

Jennifer Williams lives and works in La Crosse, WI. She earned a BFA from Indiana University-Bloomington and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and is a professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Jennifer’s  artwork encompasses expressive painting and works on paper in a range of media, processes and subject matter. Her paintings are inspired by travel within and beyond the Driftless Region of Wisconsin. Conceptually her art is grounded in climate- and place-specific aspects of landscape and human experiences. Her work is included in public and private collections throughout the United States.
