Meet the Artists

Sandra Albers is a Brazilian artist and athlete who has lived in the United States for over a decade. After retiring from a career in banking and technology in 2024, she dedicated herself fully to the arts. She began her artistic training in classical portrait painting at the Art Students League of New York under Sharon Sprung, developing a strong foundation in traditional European techniques.

Her practice has since expanded to include sculpture, which she studied as an audit student at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, and photography through a Digital Photography Certificate from eCornell. Alongside her artistic work, Sandra remains active in sports as a master volleyball athlete competing in national & international events.
